The search capability can locate over 1,000 file-types including legacy data holdings like Lotus and WordPerfect, voice and video, and even handwritten documents. The software can search for these files in multiple and complex locations such as email, private drives, shared drives, documents management stores, cloud stores; virtually anywhere. We can also drill down, and search attached files, documents within documents, and zipped files.
Faster, Smarter Redaction
Our market testing has shown that the redaction of data is another of the major bottlenecks in the FOI process. The current method is labour-intensive, as it requires a full reading of each document followed by a manual redaction process of each offending item. The developed solution from Nuix can boost productivity by processing high volumes of data at speed. We can learn what needs to be flagged for possible redaction and highlight the item – once reviewed and accepted, the process is automatically taken care of.
